The scope of the current strategy plan 2015–2018 is focus on the promotion of human rights of the people of the Senegambia region. Key in these is the promotion of a democratization process in the Gambia, the promotion of the health and well-being of women and girls and the empowerment of Gambians home and abroad to lead in a democratic transformation in the Gambia. The project intervention will focus mainly in the Gambia and Senegal. However, major advocacy programs and mobilizations will take place in the Diaspora and neighboring West African countries- key among this is Senegal. This strategy will help in contributing to the attainment of good governance, empower rural women through life-skills programs, and promote their health and wellbeing through the establishment of a health screening facility dedicated to support the health needs of Senegambia women.
